Once again, from across the globe, we bring together top experts on eID to share their knowledge and expertise with you.

e-Identity is finally coming of age
The quest for pan European interoperable eID is now high on the EU political agenda. We are in the deployment wave of a transition to ePassports. National electronic passports are being phased in and are recognised worldwide. Similarly, electronic visas, permanent resident eID cards, and electronic drivers' licenses are also being rolled out. No sector is exempt: telecommunications, banking and finance, health and social welfare, public transport, and government in general are increasingly heavy users of the eID features in combination with contact and contactless chip technology vendors. Against this background, we have structured your World eID conference into a daily keynote session and subsequent parallel strands.
Attending World e-ID 2007 will make you understand the near future of eID and give you insight in how to cope with it. So participate in World e-ID and be prepared.
