INSTRUCTIONS FOR AUTHORS
We inform prospective authors that 2 tracks are proposed: Research Track and Open Track:

Research Track:
Authors are invited to submit original papers, not previously submitted to other conferences or journals, of not more than 10 A4 pages of double column text using single spaced 10 point size. Authors of selected papers will be invited to submit extended versions of their papers for publication in international journals (see below for more information).

Open Track:
Authors are invited to submit high-quality extended abstracts of their presentation(s), including a clear and precise title and summarizing the main ideas/contributions and the main points of interest for the Ambient Intelligence Developments audience. Submissions should be between 300-500 words and limited to one A4 page.

Full presentation and/or extended abstracts must include the name, function, address, phone, e-mail, and affiliation of all the author(s) of the presentation together with a short description of the author(s)' expertise. In case of multiple authors, the name of the speaking person should be mentioned; Only 1 person is allowed to present.

Submitted papers should be original ones, not previously published elsewhere, publicly presented or submitted in parallel to any other event. Submissions should be informative, self-contained and impartial. All submissions will be peer-reviewed by The Program Committee based on originality, significance, quality and clarity. The Program Committee will reject any commercially-oriented ones.

Submission procedure (deadline: April 30th, 2006)

Decisions and Presentation (notification: May 30th, 2006)

Notification of acceptance or rejection will be sent to authors on May 30th, 2006.

Authors of accepted papers commit themselves to address the comments from the Scientific Committee and to present their paper at the conference. In case of personal impediment, a substitute speaker should be appointed.

Conference Proceedings will be published and will be available at the conference. Clear instructions about the preparation of a final proceedings version will be sent to the authors of accepted papers.

Paper Publication (Research Track only)

Accepted papers will be published in a proceedings volume with ISBN and will be available at the conference.

Distinguished papers, will be invited to submit extended versions for publication in the Journal of Ubiquitous Computing and Intelligence (JUCI), and the International Journal of Information Security (IJIS).

Additional Information

The organizers commit themselves not to diffuse the presentations before the conference.

The organizers will ask the speaking person for a moderate contribution to costs of 150€ (1 day) or 300€ (full event). Speaker's travel and accommodation expenses are not covered by the organizers. Non speaking authors will also benefit from preferential registration rates.
