In order to understand
the possibilities of biometrics in real life use, it is
important to know the basics of the technology and its
underlying principles. This biometrics module paves the
way from basic understanding to the practical use of biometrics.
This includes not only the technical part, but it also
covers the legal and business aspects that are necessary
for the design and deployment of successful implementations.
