The first edition of the Smart Mobility Conference will take place on September 17, 18, 19, 2008 at the Agora Einstein Conference Centre located on the Europe’s leading international science and technology park of Sophia-Antipolis nearby Cannes and Nice International airport.
Smart Mobility has been established to focus on the emergence of Trusted Mobile Applications.
By 2010 and beyond, mobile and wireless communications, services and appliances will play a major role in all aspect of citizens and consumers existence, for improving their personal and professional quality of life. This vision shall be achieved by delivering the relevant content and services anytime and anywhere in a trustworthy manner using the most convenient services and appliances in an always connected environment.
In 2008 by launching Smart Mobility, Smart Event’08 application stream is being enlarged in such a way to embrace the changing landscape of the traditional “anytime, anything, anywhere” mobile services to cover all transactions made in a secure, mobile and convenient ecosystem. Smart Mobility platform will be dedicated to reflecting Markets and Industry trends at the cutting edge of this new application domain.
In particular this event is now open to, and collecting world-class trustworthy mobility and e-mobility applications R&D, business & marketing experts from the mobile telecommunication, finance, entertainment, health and transport industry leaders.
The Smart Mobility Program Committee is inviting proposals for presentations from those leaders but also from research laboratories and universities industry associations, international standardization organizations and governmental bodies, institutions, consultants, analysts and lawyers…

Instructions
for authors
Prospective speakers must submit a short abstract, including a clear and precise title, the name, function, address, phone, e-mail, and affiliation of all the author(s) of the presentation together with a short description of the author(s)’ expertise. In case of multiple authors, only 1 person is allowed to present. The name of the speaking person should be mentioned. Short abstracts should be between 300-500 words and limited to one A4 page. Submissions must be in PDF format. Submissions not conforming to these formatting instructions risk rejection regardless of their technical merit.
All submissions must be original ones, not previously published elsewhere, publicly presented or submitted in parallel to any other event. They should be informative and impartial. The Program Committee will review all submissions and will reject any commercially-oriented ones.

Decisions
and Presentation
Notification of acceptance or rejection will be sent to authors on April 28th, 2008.
Authors of accepted papers commit themselves to present at the conference. In case of personal impediment of the speaking person, they should appoint a substitute speaker.
The speaking person is asked a compulsory speaker registration fee of €375. Co-authors benefit from preferential attendance rates. Speakers’ travel and accommodation expenses are not covered by the organizers.
Conference Proceedings will be published on cd-rom, available at the conference. Clear instructions about the proceedings will be sent to the authors of accepted papers.
The organizers commit themselves not to disseminate the presentations before the conference.
