MARKETING PLAN
SIMagine 2005 and e-gate Open 2005 both have the same objective: they challenge
an international target including professional developers, students and researchers
to develope innovative solutions. 2 kinds of applications according to the contests
- wireless applications of the future using (U)SIM cards based on JavaTM technology
for SIMagine 2005
- secure e-business solutions or applications using e-gate smart cards
(Axalto USB smart cards) for e-gate Open 2005
As a result a part of the marketing campaign is common to both contests, which implies cost reduction for partners and sponsors. However important steps of contests especially introduction of the contests to the targeted public and Awards Ceremonies occur to places and times specially dedicated to the area of of applications of each contest.
Concerning the target, it is mainly the worldwide community of Java developers
which is concerned, that is to say professionals, universities, research centers
and software houses. But the target also includes all the players involved in
the smart card industry, as component manufacturers, integrators and issuers.
