JONAS
ANDERSSON
Precise Biometrics
Jonas Andersson, 45 years of
age, is a Swedish national who
has lived, studied and worked
extensively abroad.
After engineering studies in
Sweden and France, specialising
in computer science, he held
management positions in LM Ericsson's
Software Development labs in
Stockholm Sweden.
Over a career as management
consultant with Scandinavian
Institutes for Administrative
Research (SIAR) where he specialised
in the organisation and management
of Research and Development
with the objective of creating
measurable results towards the
company strategic goals, Jonas
Andersson moved into the B2B
marketing and Sales of high
tech products.
In this area Mr. Andersson has
held a number of management
positions with Scandinavian,
European and American companies.
Specifically he was New Business
Development Manager and later
Business Segment Director at
Schlumberger Cards.
Today Jonas Andersson is Manager
Smart ID with the responsibility
for the introduction of Precise
Biometrics' BioMatch Match on
Card products in the smart card
market.

BRUNO
BAILLY
ID3 Semiconductors
Bruno Bailly received the engineer
degree and PhD from Ecole Centrale
de Lyon in 1981 and 1985 respectively.
In 1985 he joined EFCIS, now
ST Microelectronics, as an IC
design engineer.
In 1990, he co-founded id3 Semiconductors,
a design house for electronics
products, and a leading provider
of fingerprints biometry and
RFID readers. Dr Bailly is now
CTO of the company and heads
the IC design team.

DEPINAY
Oberthur Card System
Jean-Loup Depinay joined Oberthur
Card Systems in 1997. He was
in the team that develops the
first OCS JavaCard and he is
now one of the OCS JavaCard
Architect. He attends the JavaCard
Forum, NCG and Global Platform
as Vice-Chairman for the 'Card
Committee'. He was also selected
for JavaOne conferences on JavaCard
security, Cartes WS and he is
currently involved in several
EU projects. He is very familiar
with Common Criteria, CAST and
FIPS evaluations.

FAHER
Gemalto
Mourad Faher is currently part
of Gemalto Standards Departments.
He is an active member of committees
promoting innovative solutions
for the deployment of the Citizen
Card (CEN/TC224 WG15) and member
of the Task Force 9 (ISO/JTC1/SC17/WG4)
in charge of the specification
for a new middleware standard
upon the NIST initiative. He
took part to the former eEPOCH
project (IST/FP5) that gathered
European Industries and Universities
around the reflection upon an
ISO technical foundation to
support the IAS kernel of functions.
He acts as Coordinator and Gemalto
Project Leader of the Onom@Topic
project. Before the merger of
Schlumberger S.A. and Bull CP8,
Mourad was at the position of
Technical Advisor with CP8.

Development director - OKsystem
Ivo Rosol acts as Development
Director at OKsystem Ltd., private
Czech software house based at
Prague. OKsystem provides large-scale
software application solutions
and complex services for both
government agencies and enterprises
from various industrial segments.
Ivo Rosol is responsible for
the area of software development
and professional services, including
security systems design and
implementation and authorised
IT training. OKsystem is member
of Onoma@Topic+ Consortium and
Ivo Rosol is leader of the work
package responsible for interoperable
solution of smart card interfaces
and embeded functions.Prior
to joining OKsystem in 1990,
Ivo Rosol graduated at Faculty
of Electronic Engineering at
the Czech Technical University
in Prague, followed by Ph.D.
degree in Technical Cybernetics
at the Institute of Information
Theory and Automation, Czechoslovak
Academy of Sciences.

SIEGEL
Esterel Technologies
Günther Siegel joined Esterel
Technologies in September 2003
as Technical Manager of Esterel
Studio and Deputy Director R&D.
He is now CTO of the EDA activity
of Esterel Technologies. He
is in charge of product engineering,
product marketing, and expertise
development.
From 1998 to 2002, Mr. Siegel
worked for Simulog (France).
He managed the Professional
Services Department, in charge
of technical leadership and
business development, specializing
in Telecom, distributed and
critical systems.

SOURGEN
Director of cooperative R&D
programs - STMicroelectronics
Smartcard division
He received his degree in Electronic
Engineering from the Institut
Supérieur d'Electronique
du Nord in Lille. He worked
two years for Fairchild Semi-conductors
in England as logic designer.
He joined ST in 1985 as designer
for the Smart Card Division.
He has been in charge of development
teams for the Smartcard activities
of STMicroelectronics, following
both technology and product
architecture. He held more than
20 patents and presented various
papers in conferences linked
with Smartcard technology, architecture
and security. He has been involved
in various European and national
cooperative R&D programs
as task and project.

TUAL
Gemalto
Jean-Pierre Tual is currently
Gemalto Industrial Relations
Director, inside the company's
Technology and Innovation department.
He was formerly R&D manager
of Schlumberger Smart Cards
and terminals, after the merger
of Bull CP8 and Schlumberger
smart cards activities. Before
that, he was Vice President,
R&D and Technical Support
at Bull CP8 and got several
management position in the Large
Systems department of Groupe
Bull.
