DEMOS : THE FUTURE OF SMART CARD, NOW

e-Smart is focused on the future of Smart Card. The future is not only made of issues to speak of and debate about. The future is research and innovation. It is to be shown and experimented in real dimension. That is what offers our "DEMOS PROGRAMME : THE FUTURE NOW" proposed by the SC key players. It is in free access to all attendees. To date, here are the demos that will be presented :

- ASK
"C.scan or the document tracking live, show case of item tracking management thanks to a handheld RFID reader. Whether you are trying to inventory library books on a shelf or spot check assets, a mobile reader is essential to the day-to-day use of RFID technology. This is the reason why ASK Company has designed C.scan, the handheld RFID reader. The presentation will show what kind of applications can now find smart answers thanks to this new technology.

- GEMPLUS
will present a series a demonstration during the tutorial related to Biometry, on September 18th, from 2.30 pm :
- False finger : How to create a false finger to fool some kinds of sensors
- Match on card and storage on card demonstrations, a demonstration with a match on card system, and an other one with the match of card (on the PC) and a card only use to store a fingerprint
- A compilation of attacks on a biometric architectures. Presentation of some majors security flaws in the common biometric architetures, and how to prevent these issues
- Biometric pincode.
