Smart Card Industry Associations Eurosmart and GlobalPlatform together with the Java Card Forum are
proud to announce the 5th edition of the “e-Smart” Conference that will take place on the 1st reputable
European Tech Park of Sophia Antipolis.

The e-Smart Conference aims at delivering a global and objective overview, an update of the last technological trends as well as the business ones and a sharp vision of the smart card future.

In which directions is going the future of Smart Card ?

9 specific dedicated sessions will present the Strategy, Technology, Management and Markets issues Smart Card Industry faces. Delegates will be offered to choice the sessions to attend according to their information needs and professional interests:

1st day: World Status (Europe, USA, Japan) – SC Strategy – SC Emerging Technologies
2nd day: SC Security – MMC& DRM + round table – SC Management
3rd day: SC Terminals & Devices – SC Java & Operating Systems – SC Applications & Markets

Building and establishing an annual Forum of the industry experts and leaders to present and discuss the state of Art and the challenges the industry faces is a necessary part of this mission. By organizing the "e-Smart" Conference the two main Industry Associations Eurosmart and GlobalPlatform together with the first SC technology consortium, the Java Card Forum, have created this event. After four editions "e-Smart" has become the main worldwide managerial and scientific conference in the SC industry.

Gathering up to 300 international high level professionals and decicion makers each year, the conference aims at delivering a global and objective overview on the strategic issues of card technologies and applications, and a sharp vision of the Smart Card Future.

Delegates are also proposed to attend the parallel conference “e-Government & SmartCard International Meeting”.
